Vital Health Cafe Wicklow and how we happened. Firstly before starting look at the beach below shows most of the reasons why we are here.

Like a lot of people the idea of leaving the big city for a lifestyle choice is a big decision. For us no different Renee and myself both work in Dublin and playing with the idea of moving to a smaller town or community.

On a day trip to Wicklow Town having a look at houses and dreaming of what life could be like in the town we looked up. On St Patrick's Hill the cutest little building in purple with a lovely rock wall and it's for sale.

Within days we were in looking at this building all in pink a dress maker called Denise who was selling and instantly knew we had to buy. With our house deposit spent on the purchase Vital Health Cafe Wicklow was born.

Renee is passionate about health food and is trained both as a chef but has a degree in health science so her passion for healthy food was always going to win through. The menu simple and clean and lots of green, worked well because the purple building now gone is now a green one.

We hoped the town of Wicklow would embrace the concept of healthy alternatives and you have not let us down. Every day we are thankful for the wonderful reviews. We genuinely are blown away below a dad and his little boy who are exactly the reason why we do what we do.

So our story in conclusion is simple we love Wicklow and we are here to stay and if we can do our bit to help feed you and your families healthy fresh food we will. We will always listen to you guys and if you are happy so are we so we will keep working to make the place even better.

It only been a few months and we feel like it's not just a cafe it's a community and we love the fact you all support us so well. It feels like the Cafe is your place Wicklow and we just get to work there so always make it your own. We are small so when there are a few in it feels like a party but with your patience we will always get you your food and know you will be happy you stayed. Plenty more to come guys so stay tuned we will see you soon.

We are small cafe but full of delious treats like our Banana Bread. This is great baked in house and from a recipe picked up in Australia. Hopefully a firm favourite with you guys.

It's sugar free so little to no guilt.

Count the slices when there gone they are gone so don't miss out. It's best heated with a little bit of butter. We know you will enjoy. See you soon.

I have these 3 wee kids as a costumers, since I opened the Café they come in almost everyday for a Vegan falafel protein bowl. Their age are between 10 and 16. Every time I see them my heart fills up happiness!

Busy week testing menu and getting to know the people and the town of Wicklow. I think Vital Health Cafe Wicklow has found its place.

Guys what a fun start. Like any new business you have to worry about the overheads and the menu and will everyone like what you do. Wicklow is amazing and really takes this pressure away.

What is so surprising is you make what you love people respond. Great food choices and wonderful coffee and teas, it's going to be fine.
